The Resurrected Life

A Resurrected Life

By Apostle Felix

4 Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life. 5 For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts. Romans 6: 4, 5

A resurrected life is a victorious life. It is a life that has overcome and has an upper hand over the issues of life. A resurrected life is not influenced by its environment, but it influences the environment from within. Any person that is born of God does not live from outside in, but vice versa. He lives from inside out. The new life in him exerts the life of God on the outside environment. What the Bible calls carnality is just the inability of a christian to live from inside out. This is a person that reacts to what the circumstances are dictating. A resurrected life does not react to circumstances but takes charge and is in control.

You see, every child of God overcomes the world, for our faith is the victorious power that triumphs over the world. 1 John 5: 4

The resurrection has offered all that man needs for him to live as God had intended from the beginning. The resurrection of Christ was not only to secure a place in heaven for you, but also to secure your place here on earth. Jesus expects us to be productive and fruitful in areas of calling. The resurrection facilitated the kingdom of God coming to mankind. Jesus brought the kingdom to earth, not necessarily taking man out of this earth.

Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17: 21

Jesus was introducing the kingdom of God when He was here on earth as He went around preaching the word of God. He kept on reminding His disciples especially about the message of the Kingdom He was preaching and and the manifest Kingdom. Jesus manifested the kingdom of God wherever He went. When the fishermen had not caught anything, Jesus ordered them to cast the net into the deep waters at an hour when it was not the right time to fish. But the kingdom of God bypassed the laws of nature and the men had a supernatural catch that day.

When people had not eaten for days, Jesus multiplied the five loaves and the two fishes to feed five thousand men, besides women and children. Jesus was never moved by what was happening around Him, but He moved what circumstances in the direction of who He was inside. That’s the kind of life you have that is able to move circumstances in the direction of God.
