Super Abundantly Blessed

Super Abundantly Blessed

By Apostle Felix

13  Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with his super-abundance until you radiate with hope!

Romans 15: 13

The life of a christian is lived by faith. The world says, ‘Seeing is believing,’ but the word of God suggests otherwise, ‘ Believing is seeing.’ We do not wait to see before we believe. We simply believe the word from God’s mouth, because He is trustworthy. Our faith, as children of God is embedded in the fact that Jesus died, was buried, rose from the dead and ascended on high. Our blessedness is rooted in the finished of work of Christ, not necessarily in what we do as individuals. Your blessedness is undebatable issue. It is a settled matter forever. This is because Jesus died once, resurrected and lives forever. So then, all that trust in His finished work are super abundantly supplied for.

10  A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expect—life in its fullness until you overflow!

John 10: 10

There is nothing you and I can do that can make God to bless you more than He had blessed you when you accepted Christ in your life. The blessing is His life. The two cannot be independent of one another. The blessing comes along with the life of God. If life is given in abundance so is the blessing. The confusion around the blessing is the temptation to naturalize the blessing into earthly possessions. Jesus was naturalized when He was here on earth by the people from His village. They saw Jesus as a son of Joseph and Mary, who was incapable to do what He claimed. They actually rejected His claims that He was the Son of God, the blessed One. To them, Jesus was just an ordinary man, who had limitations like them.

55  Isn’t he just the wood-worker’s son? Isn’t his mother named Mary, and his four brothers Jacob, Joseph, Simon, and Judah?

Matthew 13: 55

The people could not receive from Jesus, not because Jesus was unable to. No, He could not heal in Nazareth because the people had no faith in Christ. The power, the blessing, and the life of God was present to heal everyone. So it is with us today. The life of God and the blessing have been given super abundantly to each one of others, but the carnal mind wants to feel and see first before it can believe. Carnality is simply to rely on the natural than one can trust in God and the finished work of Christ. You have been super abundantly blessed in Christ and you just need to believe it and allow the blessing to take its course in your life.

3  Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!
