31  For you can all prophesy in turn and in an environment where all present can be instructed, encouraged, and strengthened.
32  Keep in mind that the anointing to prophesy doesn’t mean that the speaker is out of control—he can wait his turn.
33  For God is the God of harmony, not confusion, as is the pattern in all the churches of God’s holy believers.

Order creates room for more. It facilitates growth in areas where order is observed. God does not condone disorder. In church, we have charismatic madness which people call power. We often hear believers calling disorder in a church service as a Spirit led service. Then turn and call an orderly service as dry of the Spirit. It is so sad that church people are made to be indoctrinated  into confusion. So many have normalized the confusion, and it has become a norm. In fact, the church considers order as confusion, and confusion as order..

20  Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 

Isaiah 5: 20

We need to seek order in church and in our personal lives. Why? Because God is not the author of confusion, but definitely is the author of order. What is order? Order is the arrangement or disposition of things in relation to each other according to a particular sequence, pattern, or method. Our God is not haphazard in His operations. He is an orderly God. We can see His orderliness in the revelation of Christ from the book of Genesis to Malachi. The revelation is progressive and consistent. It is built upon precept upon precept.

9  Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.
10  For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

The confusion in the body of Christ is due to unbiblical doctrines. Behavior is dictated by doctrine. We cannot separate behavior from doctrine. I have heard preachers say that they are not into theological doctrines, but they just preach the word of God. That statement in itself is the genesis of confusion. You cannot preach the word of God without preaching biblical doctrine. If not, then you are preaching something that is perpetuating confusion in the Body of Christ.

The Corinthian church was zealous for the spiritual gifts, but was void of biblical doctrine of how the spiritual gifts should operate. These were good christians, who were zealous for God, but had no understanding of the ways of God. Due to their ignorance of God’s word, their services were marked with confusion. That was the reason apostle Paul had to come to correct the wrong. Confusion is driven out by light, which the word of God. The correct doctrine of the Lord Jesus Christ brings order in our lives. That of course will create room for more. Fruitful is predicated on order. Do not minimize the importance of order in one’s life. Disorder should not be treated like a godly virtue. The illusion of many believers is to think that disorderliness is holiness.

there is nothing good about disorder. We have enough evidence of disorder in Africa. The results are so evident to be missed. Disorder perpetuates barrenness. Where there is disorder, will be poverty. The two go together. Let us put our houses in order, especially in doctrine, administration and practices.
