The Endless Love of God

35  Who could ever separate us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one! For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats? No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love, 
36  even though it is written: All day long we face death threats for your sake, God. We are considered to be nothing more than sheep to be slaughtered!

Romans 8: 35, 36

God loves you unconditionally. The Greek word for love in Romans chapter eight verse thirty five is agape, which is the unconditional love of God. God loved you before you ever realized that God exists. He loved you when you were in the bar, consuming alcohol. He loved you even when you were blaspheming against Him. What then will make Him to love you less now that You are His child. There is nothing that you can do that can separate you from the love God. The love of God is what glues God to you. He loves you dearly to the point of dying for you on the cross.

8  But Christ proved God’s passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly! 

Romans 5: 8

There is nothing you can ever do that can make God love you more. God does not respond to our love for Him, instead it is us who respond to His love. The endless love of God is the one that makes it possible for you and me to remain standing even in the face of trouble. It is not your love for God that keeps you strong in the time of trouble, but His love for you. The love of God makes you and me become immune to condemnation and all manner of negativity. If you rest in His love, then you will not worry about man’s opinion of you. Men’s love is fickle. He can love you today depending on the good you have done, and hate you tomorrow. Man’s love cannot be trusted. It is often a reaction, an emotional reaction to circumstances. But God’s love is not a reaction. God does not react to circumstances. His love is not a reaction to what man does for God. If it was so, Jesus was not going to come to earth and die for mankind. This was because there was nothing man had done to make God to decide to come and die.

39  There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!

Romans 8: 39

The best place to stay secure is in the love of God. So many believers are fighting the devils in the so called spiritual warefare prayers, while their hearts have not embraced the love of God. Love is God. Resting in the love of God is resting in God. You cannot rest in love and at the same time be restless and be tormented by the devils. It is not possible. The greatest weapon against the forces of darkness is the love of God, and not necessary your ability to pray and bind demons.

5  And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us!

Romans 5: 5

The love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who is God. The love of God cannot disappoint you whatsoever. It is the very nature of God that cannot implode under pressure. Instead, the love of God ensures continuous victories in your life. The endless of God procures endless victories.
