The Curse of Disunity Part 2

4  Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried and entombed with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life.

Romans 6: 4

We are one with Christ in death and in His resurrection. We were buried together in His death and rose from the dead with Him. We are essentially one with Him. As Eve was in Adam and she was taken from him, so was the church in Christ before His death and was taken from Him after His resurrection. The church is one with Christ.

28  And we no longer see each other in our former state—Jew or non-Jew, rich or poor, male or female—because we’re all one through our union with Jesus Christ with no distinction between us.

Galatians 3: 28

There is only one human race – humanity. There may be many different shades, languages, and tribes, but there is only one race. Racism is an anti-Christ agenda of satan to defy the very order of God. Anything that destabilizes the unity of God is anti-Christ. God is one, and He created one race, Adam, to populate the earth. From one race came all the nations of the earth. Nations are Adam’s offspring. Adam and Eve, the first human race, had two sons or nations, Cain and Abel. One nation was antagonistic toward another nation. Hostility began with the first two nations, and as a result, one nation rose and killed the other nation. The consequence of killing the other nation was a curse, which was a separation from the presence of God. Cain was driven away, far from the place he knew to be home.

7  If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 
8  And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 
9  And the LORD said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 
10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground. 
11  And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 

Genesis 4: 8 – 11

God did not curse Cain, but He simply informed him of what happened to him because of the killing of his brother. Cain did not just wake up one day and decide to kill his brother. It was a premeditated murder. God had warned him of a grudge he had developed against his brother, Abel. He hated his brother because of the favor he had found with God. Of course, the brothers had chosen different paths in life, and Cain became jealous of his brother. Hate filled his heart, which led to him killing his brother.

14  We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15  Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 

1 John 3: 14, 15

In the Bible, hate is regarded as murder. You cannot hate someone without thinking evil of the person. The prayers that are centred on wishing others to die are demon-induced. No person who knows Christ would pray for another person to die. No normal believer in Christ and His love would go to testify in church about the death of a supposedly enemy. That spirit is not of God. Cain killed his brother and felt he had solved his problem. The problem was not his brother, but a problem from within.

1  What is the cause of your conflicts and quarrels with each other? Doesn’t the battle begin inside of you as you fight to have your own way and fulfill your own desires? 
2  You jealously want what others have so you begin to see yourself as better than others. You scheme with envy and harm others to selfishly obtain what you crave—that’s why you quarrel and fight. And all the time you don’t obtain what you want because you won’t ask God for it!
