The Anointing For Fruitfulness
By Apostle Felix
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Isaiah 55: 1
This is one of the scriptures that may appear paradoxical. How can one buy without money. Of course, we use money to trade and transact. However, money is not the currency of the kingdom of God. The currency of the kingdom of God is believing in the Son of God and His work of redemption. Believing in the Son comes with all you will ever need in this life and the one to come. All has been supplied for. In the kingdom of God, it is not money that makes one fruitful. It is the Christ, the Anointed and His anointed One, that makes us fruitful. This is what He said to the people in His time on earth.
37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.John 7: 37, 38
Jesus stood and made a bold invitation to everyone to come to Him and drink. And all the requirement is only to believe in the Son of God. When we believe in the Son of God, He supplies His Spirit, the anointing to help us in our every day life. Life in general is spiritual. In order to live a fruitful life, you and I need the supernatural, the anointing to turn the dry places into fruitful orchards. It is not by power…
6 Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.
Zecharia 4: 6
We need the anointing from above to change circumstances of life. The Samaritan woman , who met Jesus at the well, had led a very unfruitful life but the encounter with the anointed One changed her life. She came to draw water from Jacob’s well, but instead drew living water from the well of salvation. The moment the woman believed in Jesus that He was the Messiah, she became fruitful. Her life turned into a fruitful orchard, a tree that started bearing fruits. The woman ran into the village and started inviting people to come and encounter the Christ. This was a woman, who was dreaded in the village because she was a husband snatcher. Married women did not want her near their husbands. But on this particular day, she came back with good news of the kingdom. Come and see the one who has changed my life.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
John 4: 10
Isaac is another person, who experienced fruitfulness in the time of famine. When others were famishing, Isaac and his family had enough to eat and sell. He had an abundance in the time of scarcity.
12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.
13 And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great:Genesis 26: 12, 13
Work is good. Apostle Paul said that he who does not work should not eat as well. However, work should be blessed of the Lord. God blesses the work of our hands. In other words, He anoints the work of our hands for maximum productivity. Isaac planted in famine and had bumper harvest the same year because of the anointing. Where the Philistines struggled and failed, Isaac prospered because of the anointing. Child of God, because of the anointing upon you, you are not going to fail. The anointed One lives in you, and you live in Hm, too.
27 Living within you is the Christ who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for his people, and God wants everyone to know it!
Colossians 1: 27
Christ, the anointed and His anointing lives in you. You cannot fail. Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman and she became fruitful in life. He was sitting at the well, and not in her life. Now, this same Jesus who spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well and she became fruitful, lives in you by His Spirit. By His Spirit you have become failure proof. You are now fruitful by default.
