Grace Is Working For You

10  But God’s amazing grace has made me who I am! And his grace to me was not fruitless. In fact, I worked harder than all the rest, yet not in my own strength but God’s, for his empowering grace is poured out upon me. 

1 Corinthians 15: 10

It’s either the grace of God working through you to accomplish desired results, or trying to make things work all by yourself without God. Work without God’s grace can be produce some results, but accompanied with so much sorrow and pain. The Lord encourages us to work hard and yet relying on His grace. Grace is not anti work. It does not mean that one should abandon work and just wait on God to perform something while one is lazing around. The apostle Paul worked hard, yet not in his own strength but God’s grace. Unfortunately, we often leave God out of our plans and execution of those plans. That should not be the case. This coming year, let us seek God’s guidance in all we desire to do. Starting from planning, and to the execution of the plans

1  Go ahead and make all the plans you want, but it’s the Lord who will ultimately direct your steps.

Proverbs 16: 1

Of course, employ your skills in planning yet looking to God for inspiration. You know your potential, and you do understand your purpose on earth, however let God be the one guiding you in all your planning. When it comes to execution of your plans, allow the Lord to order your steps. Even when God had spoken to Joshua to cross the Jordan river and conquer the inhabitants of the land, yet God appeared to Joshua to assure him of His presence.

14  And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the LORD am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant?

Joshua 5: 14

It is not by might nor by power. It takes the grace of God to accomplish God’s purpose in the earth. King David, a man after God’s heart had an attitude of consulting God about his invasions. He did not invade another nation without consulting God. David never lost any battle because God was fully involved in his endeavours. You will not lose any battle this coming year because God has become your leader.

2  Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and smite these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and smite the Philistines, and save Keilah.

1 Samuel 23: 2

The grace of God is found where God is leading. God will not normally supply His grace to support something that He is not involved in or does not support His agenda. Be intentional in 2026 in consulting God’s guidance in all you want to do. Hear from Him and His opinion regarding the matter. Grace shall be supplied to work on your behalf. You will not fail.
