Expansion Is Possible

Expansion Is Possible

By Apostle Felix

34  Mary said, “But how could this happen? I am still a virgin!”
35  Gabriel answered, “The Spirit of Holiness will fall upon you and almighty God will spread his shadow of power over you in a cloud of glory! This is why the child born to you will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.
36  What’s more, your aged aunt, Elizabeth, has also become pregnant with a son. The ‘barren one’ is now in her sixth month.
37  Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!”

Luke 1: 34 – 37

A young woman named Mary had a divine encounter with an angel of the Lord, who came to announce the birth of the Son of God. The announcement deeply puzzled Mary because she was a virgin, yet she was promised to conceive and give birth to a son without any physical intimacy with a man. While such a conception was humanly impossible according to the laws of nature, the angel promised a supernatural intervention. To strengthen her faith, the angel pointed to her relative Elizabeth, a famously barren woman who had miraculously conceived in her old age. Much like Sarah in the Old Testament, it was biologically impossible for Elizabeth to bear a child; she was not only barren but had long passed the age of menopause. Consequently, Elizabeth experienced a double miracle that completely reversed her physical limitations and revitalized her body.

27  Jesus responded, “What appears humanly impossible is more than possible with God. For God can do what man cannot.”

Luke 18: 27

What seems utterly impossible to man is entirely possible with God. In fact, God rarely asks us to do what we can easily accomplish through mere human effort; if He did, man would receive the credit instead of God receiving the glory. He intentionally calls us beyond our natural capacity so that we will continually rely on Him for provision and direction. God is fully able to accomplish the impossible through anyone who is willing and yields themselves completely to Him. Mary modelled this perfectly when she declared, “Let it be according to your word.” She made herself available regardless of how impossible the situation appeared, and God stepped in to do what she could never achieve in her own strength.

6  I was the one who planted the church and Apollos came and cared for it, but it was God who caused it to grow.
7  This means the one who plants is not anybody special, nor the one who waters, for God is the one who brings the supernatural growth.

1 Corinthians 3: 6, 7

Likewise, supernatural expansion is possible in every area of life through God. Whether it is growth in ministry, business, career, or any other personal pursuit, nothing is impossible with Him. As Paul famously stated, it is God who brings the increase—not man, but God alone. While we must do our part by preaching the Gospel, following up faithfully with people, praying, and staying committed to the vision, it is ultimately the Lord who adds to the church. Therefore, stay faithful and do not allow fear to choke out your faith. Keep believing and trusting the One who called you, because He is always faithful to fulfil His word. Your situation may currently look unchanging or worthless, and people around you may even walk away, but do not anchor your faith in who leaves or stays. Instead, fix your eyes on the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think.

20  Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.
