Expansion is Here!

Expansion is Here!

By Apostle Felix

1  “Sing, you barren woman, even the one who never bore a child! Burst into song and shout for joy, even you who were never in labor! For the children of the desolate woman will be more than the children of her that is married,” says the LORD.
2  “Enlarge the location of your tent, let the curtains of your dwellings be stretched wide, and don’t hold back. Lengthen your cords; strengthen your stakes.
3  For you will spread out to the right hand and to the left, and your descendants will possess the nations and will populate the deserted towns.
4  “Don’t be afraid, because you won’t be ashamed; don’t fear shame, for you won’t be humiliated—because you will forget the disgrace of your youth, and the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.
5  For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of the Heavenly Armies is his name, and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of the whole earth.

Isaiah 54: 2 – 5

Spiritual expansion operates in both the supernatural and natural realms. Although Jesus’ birth was supernatural, He was raised by natural parents, Joseph and Mary. Mary, a young virgin, was betrothed to Joseph. Because she had never been intimate with a man, there was no logical way for her to claim that another man had gotten her pregnant. Consequently, it was almost impossible for anyone to believe her story. At the time, Mary was regarded as a woman without a husband, even though she was legally engaged to Joseph. Ancient Jewish culture, founded on the law of Moses, strictly condemned adultery—carrying penalties as severe as those seen in the case of the woman brought before Jesus in John chapter eight

3  And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
4  They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
5  Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

John 8: 3 – 5

Mary found herself in a deep dilemma. She was caught between fulfilling God’s divine purpose and facing the intense shame of being accused of adultery. Humanly speaking, no one would believe that her pregnancy occurred without a man. The community would naturally assume Joseph was responsible. Yet, Mary’s conception was entirely divine. The Seed of God, which is His Word, was planted in her womb and began to grow. As her body expanded, the miracle became visible to the outside world. We thank God for Joseph, who chose to marry her despite the scandalous circumstances surrounding her pregnancy. Mary’s expansion was born out of divine intervention—and that same expansion is here for you today!
However, expansion is also natural. Once the miracle began, Mary’s life changed just like that of any other pregnant woman. Her diet, appetite, and general lifestyle all shifted. She carried the baby in her womb for nine full months; it was a normal, human pregnancy wrapped in a divine purpose. Therefore, every divine expansion must be visualised, imagined, planned for, and expected. Think about how pregnant women constantly talk about their coming baby. Despite the physical pain and discomfort, a mother does not regret her pregnancy when it is within the blessing of marriage; instead, she remains excited and thankful to God. In this month of October, take time to praise and thank God for your own expectations. Instead of complaining and murmuring, lift up praises to Him!
