Ever Fruitful Life

2  His pleasure and passion is remaining true to the Word of “I Am,” meditating day and night in the true revelation of light.
3  He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God’s design, deeply rooted by the brooks of bliss, bearing fruit in every season of his life. He is never dry, never fainting, ever blessed, ever prosperous. 

Psalm 1: 2, 3

God is very clear about His desire for man to be fruitful. He is committed to see your fruitful. This is because a fruitful life glorifies His name. You cannot be with God and be barren. No matter how dry the situation may appear to be, you will still be fruitful. You will bear fruit. Your life will remain ever green and never wither. In the dry land, you still be a fruitful orchard. Your fruitfulness is not depended on the earthly seasons. You are not planted into this world, but you are planted in God. So, it does not matter what is going on around you or around the world. For example, when the economic of your country is not fairing so well, that too should not affect you as a child of God, whose life has been planted in God.

19  But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 

Philippians 4: 19

God’s perspective of fruitfulness is not necessarily in terms of money. There are many rich people whose lives are not fruitful. So, fruitfulness cannot only be defined in terms of financial soundness. Jesus was very fruitful even when He did not have much. He was a successful man because He accomplished the purpose He was born to do. Please, do not misunderstand me, I am not saying riches are opposed to God’s purpose. Money is a means, and not the end. It helps in the fulfilling of vision. You can buy property, houses and food for the homeless and hungry when there is money available. Money is important, but all by itself is not what defines fruitfulness.

However, the more fruitful you become in life the more resources roll in your direction for the purpose of God’s purpose. I believe in this season of your life, you will lack not in terms of resources for the sake of God’s purpose. Your life will be so fruitful that everywhere you go, you will be commanding attention. May that be your story. Every way Jesus went, He commanded attention. Crowds streamed to where Jesus was. Resources were made available. Though Jesus had not much money, He never lacked. He fed five thousand men, besides men and women. He was fruitful in every way. The Lord shall supply all your needs. As you go about the Father’s business this season, provision shall come from unlikely places. The Lord cannot let you down at all. As you win souls into the kingdom of God, and the more fruitful you become in disciple making so shall be every area of your life.
