What is to Innovate?

Innovate means to make changes in something established, especially by introducing new methods, ideas, or products, according to Oxford dictionary. Innovation can also be defined as a means of providing solutions to challenges of life. It is the foundation for development and prosperity. Success is the end result of innovation. Christ’s success is in His finished work of redemption for mankind. His success has become our success. Jesus came to provide solution to man’s problem of sin. He became sin, so that we can become the righteousness of God.

Development is the process of growth, progress, expansion regarding man and his environment. Innovation helps with the process of development in an organization. It also helps with being a step ahead of new emerging problems. The world is faced with new challenges on the daily basis. The church’s challenge is to help provide solutions to the challenges of life. The church is called the light of the world. We are called to let our light shine before the world. In workplaces, believers are supposed to be high performers, and at the same time exemplifying the character of Christ. Excellence in both performance and character will make the name of the Lord to be regarded highly. The name of the Lord is blasphemed among non-believers because of under-performing and unethical tendencies of believers in the marketplace.

The church is the head, and it is supposed to show in our ability to provide solutions. Unfortunately, the church has become a menace to the society. Instead of being a safe haven, it has become a place where lives are getting destroyed. We need a new breed of Christians that will change that narrative. A generation is here that will establish working systems that will inhibit the confusion and disorder in the body of Christ, organizations and the nations of Africa.
