Christ Is The Answer

5  Thomas said to him, “Master, we don’t know where you’re going, so how could we know the way there?” 
6  Jesus explained, “I am the Way, I am the Truth, and I am the Life. No one comes next to the Father except through union with me. To know me is to know my Father too. 
7  And from now on you will realize that you have seen him and experienced him.” 

John 14: 5 – 7

Oftentimes, we find ourselves in a situation that has so many questions but few answers. Even the little counsel one is receiving may not be adequate to help out of certain situations. So many people have sought help from counselors and yet the circumstances are not changing. Counseling is a good thing, but should not be done independent of the Christ. It is like trying to build a house without a firm foundation. Jesus likened a strong foundation to a man who practiced the word of God. And then house built on the sand is likened to a man who does not obey the word of God. Other counsel is good but the word of God surpasses all other counsels.

48  He is like a man who chooses the right place to build a house and then lays a deep and secure foundation. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it continues to stand strong and unshaken through the tempest, for it has been wisely built on the right foundation.
49  But the one who has heard my teaching and does not obey it is like a man who builds a house without laying any foundation whatsoever. When the storms and floods rage against that house, it will immediately collapse and become a total loss. Which of these two builders will you be?” 

Luke 6: 48, 49

Jesus is the word of God. And God created the entire creation by the word. It was the word that resolved the issue of darkness, emptiness and confusion. If God spoke the word in the situation that was unfavorable, then we need to rely on the word of God for every situation that one may be going through. We all face challenging moments in our lives but we have to learn to turn to the Lord for answers. It is unfortunate that some run to witch doctors for answers. The devil cannot give reliable solutions to the circumstances of life. The devil wants you to be in that discomfort so no way will he provide a way out. It is very unwise to consult someone who wants you to be problems to get you out problems.

12  There is no one else who has the power to save us, for there is only one name to whom God has given authority by which we must experience salvation: the name of Jesus.” 

Acts 4: 12

Christ is the way. He is the Rock for life. He is not one of the ways. He is the only way. He is the way for your life, too. Your marriage, finances, family, ministry, career, and life in general is meant to be founded on Christ. Your entire life should be built on Christ, not partial life.
