Expansion Through Prayer

Expansion Through Prayer

By Apostle Felix

24  And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:
25  Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

Acts 4: 24, 25

Great exploits are born from knowing God. He created humanity with an inherent desire to achieve extraordinary things and to produce great exploits. For believers, God has already deposited his power and placed his anointing within them. As the Bible declares in Acts 10:38, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil.” Ultimately, this divine power is given to us to do good, accomplish great exploits, and take action

32  … but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Daniel 11: 32

Daniel truly knew his God, making him unstoppable and impossible to intimidate. He was a man who achieved great exploits in his generation. Ultimately, knowing God drives us to depend fully on Him through prayer—which is the ultimate expression of our dependence. Conversely, prayerlessness is a declaration of independence from God. Because dependence on Him is our true source of strength, believers do not need to beg for power. God has already deposited His power within us; it is simply our responsibility to rest in Him and activate that power through prayer.

8  But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Acts 1: 8

When you were saved and filled with the Holy Spirit, the power of God came upon you. Prayer helps us realize and unlock the power that has already been deposited within us. It is like switching on the lights in a room. You are not trying to generate electricity from scratch; the electric company has already provided the power to your house. However, it is your responsibility to flip the switch. In the same way, we turn on the divine power in our lives through prayer. When that power is active, expansion becomes unstoppable, because it happens not by human might or power, but by the Spirit of God.
